In order to strengthen mutual understanding and friendship between the Chinese and people around the world and promote China's exchange and cooperation with other countries in various fields, the Chinese government sets up scholarships for talented students and scholars to pursue higher education or conduct research in Chinese universities.

　　The China Scholarship Council (hereinafter referred to as "CSC"), entrusted by China's Ministry of Education, is responsible for the admission, enrollment and administration of Chinese Government Scholarship recipients.

　　I. Scholarship Category: Bilateral Program

　　The program accords with the cooperation and exchange agreements or consensus between the Chinese government and the Egyptian government.

　　An applicant shall file an application with the Egypt's Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. 　　II. Application Process

　　Step 1: Register a new account at ( https://studyinchina.csc.edu.cn/#/register ) if you are a new applicant. 

       Step 2: Learn about designated Chinese universities and majors they offer by visiting websites ( http://www.campuschina.org ) or contacting a university directly, and identify the designated university and major.

　　Step 3: Reach the designated university for admission documents, as well as get all the other documents prepared. 

　　Step 4: Fill in and submit the Application Form for Chinese Government Scholarship and upload the digital copies of all required documents online via the Chinese Government Scholarship Information System: http://www.campuschina.org. 

      Step 5: (1) Submit application online only if you apply for bachelor degree program. (2) If you apply for other programs, please reach the Egypt's Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research for a recommendation, as it is explained at Part I of this announcement.
